1The service

• Nbta is a plant-care app for the Gulf: AI photo scans, care reminders, a plant library and weather warnings. Your data is kept in your account on our servers.

2Your account

• You sign in with Apple, or with your email and a code sent to it. You’re responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you add. Nbta is for people aged 18 and over. for review

3Plans, trial and payment

• Free plan: the full library, up to 3 plants with all their reminders, 3 scans in total and basic heat warnings. A scan doesn’t count if no plant is visible, the photo is blurry or dark, or an error occurs. We may change these limits; the app shows the current ones.
• Nbta Premium: unlimited plants, unlimited scans subject to fair use (a monthly limit shown in the app with its reset date), follow-up scans, and schedules that adapt to the weather.
• Prices: in Saudi Arabia, SAR 20 a month or SAR 200 a year. The price and currency differ in other countries; in Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman you’re charged in US dollars. The price that applies is the one the store shows you before you confirm the purchase.
• Free trial: the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial if you’re eligible; the monthly plan has no trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and its price is charged. We remind you 2 days before it ends.
• Subscriptions are purchased in the app through the App Store only, and charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase or when the trial ends. They renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and stay active until the end of the paid period.
• Cancelling: in your App Store account settings, not inside Nbta. How.
• If you change phones or reinstall the app, use “Restore purchases” with the same Apple account.

4Refunds

• Refunds follow Apple’s policy: payment goes through Apple and we can’t issue refunds ourselves. Request one on Apple’s Report a Problem page (reportaproblem.apple.com); our support can help if you need it.

5When a plan ends

• Nothing is deleted and your reminders keep working. If you’re over the free plan’s limits, adding is blocked and the app tells you why. Renew any time.

6AI scans

• Scanning requires your explicit consent to sending the photo and details about where the plant lives to Anthropic, as the Privacy Policy explains. You can withdraw in Settings; after that scans won’t work and the rest of the app keeps working.

7Not a substitute for an expert

• AI can be wrong. Scan results and steps are suggestions, and they can get the plant or its problem wrong. You decide what to do with your plant.
• Library content is in draft. A plant expert hasn’t reviewed the library guides yet, unless a guide says otherwise.
• We don’t give chemical doses. Follow the product’s instructions or ask a professional.
• Suggested dates and alerts are there to help. A notification may not arrive because of phone settings, so always check your list. Weather forecasts come from an outside source and may be inaccurate.

8Toxicity: children and pets

9Your content

• What you add is yours. You give us a limited permission to store and process it, only as needed to run the service. Deleting your account is immediate and permanent, and the data can’t be recovered afterwards.

10Acceptable use

• Don’t add unlawful content or content you don’t have the right to share, and photograph your plants, not people.
• Don’t try to access other people’s data, disrupt the service or get around limits.
• Don’t copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app.

11Intellectual property

• The app, its design, the name “Nbta” / «نبتة», its logo and its texts belong to the app’s owner TODO(legal) and may not be copied, distributed or modified without prior written permission. These terms give you only a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app.

12Limits of liability

• We provide the service “as is” and work hard to keep it running. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect damages or for a damaged plant, and our liability is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months. for review

13Ending your account

• You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Deleting your account or the app doesn’t cancel your subscription; cancel it in your App Store settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, with notice where possible, and we may develop the app or change its features, telling you about important changes.

14App Store

• These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its support, and the App Store’s terms also apply to your use of it. for review

15Governing law

• These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its courts handle any dispute. TODO(legal) (placeholder, including consumer rights in the other Gulf countries)

16Changes

• If we make important changes we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Nbta means you accept them. for review
